2,000 acres, formerly cultivated in sugar cane, has become the premier location for mountain biking on the Big Island. Located above the historic hamlet of Kukuihaele on the Hamakua Coast, we are fortunate to have some of the most lush and tropical flora , clandistine waterfalls, an extremely temperate climate, and awesome views of majestic Waipio Valley and Mauna Kea.

Our suspension equiped mountain bikes are top-of-the-line quality. They will afford you a comfortable ride down the sloping trails and back roads to the secret places that that you will most fondly remember about your Hawaii vacation.

A visit to the dreamy waterfalls, plunging into secluded ponds will certainly be the highlight of your trip. Take a dip in the refreshing waters or simply lay back on a bed of wild tropical ginger and enjoy the serenity of this heavenly site. This is what dreams are made of, and it is what makes our bike ride better than all the rest.

Friendly trail leaders will meet you at 8:00 am at the Waipio Valley Artworks whereyou will be equiped with a bike to fit. On the short, 30 minute transfer to the trailhead, you will be briefed about the adventure ahead. Trail snacks and bottled water are provided during the ride and a special biker's lunch awaits your return to waipio Valley Artworks.

Daily Rides: 3-4 Hours $85 per person.
Custom & Private Rides: $150 and up.

	From Honoka'a take Hwy 240 to Waipi'o Lookout. Turn right just before lookout and proceed down hill to Waipi'o Valley Artworks on left. Check-in 9:30 am.
